I really don't know what those guys are talking about. This game is fantastic, possibly the most realistic driving game I've ever played. Sure the presentation sucks and there are a limited number of tracks but if you are a driving enthusiast then get this game. Don't get it if you just want to pick it up and straight away be the next Lewis Hamilton.

As for the guy who compared this to Project Gotham.... WHAT? They arent even the same genre of game, this is a simulation, PGR is an arcade racer, it's like comparing sim city to half life. If you are going to write a review at least know what you're talking about before doing it. The only thing you can compare this game to is driving in real life, not a game.

Rated - 1 starFar Better Out There

CheekyHannie from Erith , 10/03/2009

If this had been released a few years ago it would have been good, but theres too many better racing sims out there for this one to ever compete.

graphics are average to good, handling is ok, but computer ai is pointless, they follow the racing line the whole time.

go for grid or forza if you like this style of racing.

Rated - 2 starsNot terrible, but very dated

I think it is probably fair to compare this game to Forza Motorpsort 2, and I'm afraid it really is nowhere close. This does feel like a game which could be a couple of years old - a lot of people will defend it by claiming that it's a 'simulator', it's true the cars handle well, but no better than Forza. The presentation is far from good, it almost feels like an old Amiga game in this respect. Sound is decent (can you really go far wrong with engine sounds?), although some of the post race samples are ropey. The main gripe with this title is around the visuals, there really can be no excuse for sub standard frame rates and pop-up these days, there is actually not a lot going on in comparison to GriD so it is very strange how SimBin have managed to mess this up. Overall, worth a few hours, but this is a poor title.

Rated - 5 starsGREAT GAME

JAMBO1212 from Leamington Spa , 25/02/2009

really good game just got to get used to the way it handles. Its kind of like forza 2 just not so realistic. Been playing for a few days and noticed there is a limited amount of tracks. Is still a good game though different to any other racing game. Similiar to GRID in the way you sign a contract for a team. Apart from that very unique!!!

How Atari had the cheek to release this game is beyond me. In todays day and age the graphics and frame rates for this title are shocking. Given the technical ability of Atari there is is no exuse for this rubbish. Ok so the maybe the mechanics of the cars are supposed to be very realistic but that doesn't at all make up for the shocking presentation of this title. I'm a hure racing game fan and this is just utter crap.
