Brief synopsis of Lethal Weapon 2

In Richard Donner's sequel to LETHAL WEAPON, Murtaugh (Danny Glover) is still the family man. Riggs (Mel Gibson) is still the daredevil, but now he counts the odds before bucking them. This time, the two cops must protect Leo Getz (Joe Pesci), an accountant who has laundered a half billion dollars in narcotics money. He leads them to a murderous syndicate with ties to a foreign power. Along the way, there's a six-story plummet from a window, a booby-trapped toilet, an underwater escape, and much more.

Halliwell's Film Guide

Slick action film with South Africans as the villains, fast-paced enough for the many implausibilities of plot and character to flash by.

it maybe the directors cut but it still contains an edit. After Mel dislocates his shoulder he gets out of the water and kicks the blokes arse but in this reg2 uk release we still dont get to see it. Apart from that its top notch

Very fast action movie with lots of jumps and surprises. Keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. Great stuff.

Better than an original, special effects are also coupled with a decent plot and a great feel to the movie, enjoyable!

Mel Gibson and Danny Glover make a great team in this sequel to the original film. Although the plot was weak and did not have anything different to the original it is still a timeless classic. One to watch when needing something easy to view.

I thought this was really good, it's still funny and exciting from start to finish. The only thing I wasn't happy with was the ending, i think they should have added a bit more to it but it's still a great film.
