I was waiting for this game since the moment I heard about it. I literally couldn't wait so when I saw it on it's way to me I was very excited. From the moment I put it in my PS3 I was in love. This game is an absolute masterpiece and should be a rental to any Batman fan or non fan. Visually this game is stunning, from the buildings to the enemies. You'll see some amazing landscapes in this game, good enough to say they look realistic. Batman's suit looks great and you'll see the damage on the suit as time goes on. Enemies look pretty decent as well, whether it be Joker or a random thug, they all look great. Ivy was nicely done as well. The asylum is huge and allows you to really explore the are freely so you're not confined to one small building like other games. Combat, wow is all you can really say. The freeflow combat system is simply wonderful. Moving from one thug to anotherm, using counters and a vast array of Batman's gadgets at your disposal. Story is another great part of this game. This could easily be turned into a movie, that's how it really is. Each villain is given so much character, rather than just a little piece here and there. I found this really great to be honest. I'm fed up of games that give you little insight as to what you're doing and find yourself bored. This game delivers an amazing story =D Another great thing about this game is the extras, running around solving riddles, collecting trophies and then the great combat challenges and predator challenges. So with this, the game allows you to play for hours on end without running out of things to do. I will flaw it, I hated the loading times, going from one side of the asylum to another would sometimes cause loading times, yes I'm impatient like that. The lip sync on the game isn't very good either, but you can get passed that so it won't be a problem. So all in all, a must rent and hope you enjoy the game as much as I did.

Truely awsome game. Excellent graphics, gameplay and soundtrack perfectly acompany this involving and addictive addition to the PS3 line up. Basic controls enable you to string together combo's and emmerse yourself in the Arkham world.

Without a doubt, he best comic book game that PlayStation's ever had.....if not any system. Very highly recommended.

Rated - 5 starsExactly what it should be

This game does not disapoint in anyway at all.

Batman and other character models have been crafted to look as hard wearing and detailed as they possibly could be.

Familar villans like poison ivy and Harley quin make their entry as the joker takes over.

Using a simple but devistatingly painful looking combo system, batman can disable hoardes of the insane and joker minons. He can also use stealth by using the enemy's fears against them, staying on high platforms and taking them out one by one.

Batman also has his detective skills, which using the coul of vision (his mask), he can see through walls and search crime scenes to track down clues, such as trails of smoke or fingerprints.

This game is a must for anyone looking for a brawler, or even for those who like a challenge of the mind - as the riddler puts trophies and puzzles to solve in every zone!

Rated - 4 starsnearly perfect

This game is near PERFECT. Last start form the beginning, the story is fantastic and well acted out, the combat is great to perform, the stealth aspect is not too much, the setting is well designed and you are the batman. If you love video games then you will love this. In every generation of consoles there are a few single player games that stand out , like Mario, sonic, grand theft auto, resident evil,God of war, bio-shock, gears of war and now batman. The only down side is that it is a few hours too short, to make it five stars it should be 12-15 hours to complete the story mode, where I finished it in about 9. They are extra modes where you have a few rounds of fighting or stealth, but its the story that keeps you wanting to play. It's up there with batman by Tim Burton and the two new ones. It has a feel of the radio version batman nightfall, the best batman story ever. PS rent it now.
