Brief synopsis of Teach Yourself Indian Head Massage

Indian head massage has been practiced for centuries as a relaxing and highly beneficial therapy. The technique incorporates massage strokes and pressure points on various parts of the upper body--arms, back, neck, shoulders, scalp, and face--resulting in an overall reduction of mental stress and physical tension. This instructional feature teaches the basic movements of this healing art, whose health benefits also include improved circulation, clear sinuses, increased energy, and lessening of aches and pains.

I've never tried Indian head massage but though this would be a good way to give it a go. The presentation and presenters were poor to say the least. Everything was done to quickly without enough explaination. It would have been good to have some backgorund info as well. On the whole too short and not very helpful.

Note this is not a PAL recording so not all DVD players are compatible - would only play on my computer.

As usual with these sort of recordings it is a bit amateurish. Does show how to give a massage but not always clear shots as masseuse will be working at back of head and you only see from front.

Can't say I was impressed with this DVD as it was very boring.

I love learning about massage techniques but this DVD was all about narration while another woman does the massage, as irritating music plays.

Quite frankly, 15 minutes was enough for me. Zzzzzzzzzz....
