Brief synopsis of Music For Montserrat

An all-star benefit show at London's Royal Albert Hall for the citizens of the Caribbean island of Montserrat, playground to the stars and home to the AIR Studios. But the tiny island suffered the onslaught of 1989's Hurricane Hugo and a subsequent battery of volcanic eruptions that brought massive destruction of property and loss of life. Phil Collins performs Take Me Home: Elton John performs Your Song and Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me; all the artists join Paul McCartney on stage for a finale of Kansas City; and more.

hey ho the gangs all here, all the usual superstars.nothing separates this from the usual benefit concerts.although look out for the guy doing the number'i dont know what i'm gonna do when the volcano goes' he is great and the only one who looks like he's having a ball. i watched it more than once because i thought i was being unfair but no.and the ending was very predictable.

Rented it to view the Mark Knopfler contribution - which was worth 5 stars on its own - after seeing it on youtube and have since bought the dvd. Love it.
