Brief synopsis of The Secret Identity Of Jack The Ripper

Between August and November 1888, a ruthless murderer who soon became known as Jack the Ripper was stalking the streets of Whitechapel, creating fear and panic among the local people. The Ripper was never caught, and the mystery remains unsolved to this day. Presented by Peter Ustinov, this documentary gathers together a team of forensic scientists and investigators attempt to discover the identity of the killer using current state-of-the-art techniques.

As with all of the Ripper films this shows yet another unproven spin on the real identity of whom the ripper may have been, You need to be an avid fan or historian to get anything out of this film, that said it is not too confusing if this is your first Ripper Film.

this has to be one of the worst things i've encountered for a long time. it's awful.....it's from 1988, and has ongoing bedding music that just makes it inferior to an early 80s poor horror b-movie.

i am genuinely shocked that it has made it to dvd
