Brief synopsis of Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

The Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs video game reunites fans with Scrat, Sid, Manny and Diego in an all-new quest based on the upcoming film from Twentieth Century Fox. As the unlikely herd travels across the tundra and beyond, they stumble upon another world - a lush Dinosaur World teeming with jungles, mysterious plants, fierce dinosaurs, wild new adventures and several new friends. Taking on the role of more than six playable characters, including everyone's favorite Ice Age friends and newly introduced characters, players master their unique skills and abilities across more than 15 action-packed levels. In addition to the expanded features of the single-player gameplay, for the first time in an Ice Age game, players can team up with friends and family in eight competitive multiplayer mini-games.

Rated - 3 starsto hard for kids

I got this for my 4 year old son (and to do abit of gs boosting) but it is far to tricky most places for him to do.

Any way the game is actually quite good but if you are just getting for the gs then you may not be that impressed.

For starters some of the challenges you need to do in a certain time are very very frustrating, Damn you egg rolling, this took me over 50 times to do and it was only worth 25g.

the actual storey will be done in about 5-6 hours with most of the achievements just been collincting gems and completing levels.

Not bad i suppose but like i say not that easy for the younger gamer and very frustrating for the older gamer/achievement horder.

Rated - 4 starsGreat Game.

I found this game very fun and enjoyable to play. The different styles of gameplay involved was great, either you got to control a dinosaur to running around as buck whipping things. However, I thought that some of the voice acting was a bit poor as it was not the same actors the film. The best part of the game in my opinion was towards the end with the retro style gameplay where instead of a ship flying, getting collectables like rockets, explosions etc it was a dinosaur.

The achievements on this game are amazing just completeing the game with all crystals nets you 725 and the crystals are really simple to get except a few require a guide.

I found this game alot of fun. It has lots of different types of game play throughout and never got frustrating, as I find a lot of film games can. It is a little short but great as a rental.

Well short and simple game, with low replay value, what you expect from a movie tie-in, This one is for the achievement hunters, I got 1000/1000 in like 4 hours of play, but if a parent wants to rent this for a child, I advise not to, as some sections may be too hard for youngsters.
