Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston fall in love, she trilling all the while, amid a highly charged atmosphere of jealousy and death threats in this hugely entertaining load of old baloney. Director Mick Jackson created a wildly successful film, much to several critics' snooty chagrin, by teaming two megastars with a daft but jaunty script, loud rock soundtrack and a few well-staged exciting moments. Costner is a trifle stern, but Houston makes a very creditable acting debut, and the result is great fun.

Brilliant film.

Good story and Whitney Houston was surisingly good!

Superb sound track makes a very good film really great. It is not just a collection of songs that happen to overlay the film but they form a narration of the events that we see portrayed in the film as well as being an integral part of the story line.

I have to confess to being a Kevin Costner fan so this was right up my street.

Watch, watch and watch again.

It's got everything for fans of Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner, and that song just keeps on going for days after the film stops.

Costner at his best , although he always looks and sounds the same . Good plot , well thought through and no matter how many times you watch you need to see it right to the end .Highly recommended.

I have only seen this film twice but I loved it both times. The cast is superb (even if Whitney is a little annoying sometimes) and the only thing I didn't like about it was the swearing. There wasn't an excessive amount, however it wasn't needed.

The story is about Frank Farmer (Kevin Costner), a bodyguard who is hired to protect singer and actress Rachel Marron (Whitney Houston) when death threats are made against her. The two don't hit it off to begin with, each having their own opinions and wanting to be in charge, however, they soon begin to get along...
