Rated - 5 starsPerhaps not what you're expecting...

This IS a very unusual film! Hard to write a review for but here goes:

Basically it's the story of a girl (Emily Booth} who to put it simply has some mystical force inside her which when she removes a special repressing necklace turns her into a bit of a sex maniac.

To correct the first misleading idea you may have: this is NOT remotely pornograpic and nor is it supposed to be! It's quite wrong to put it in the adult section. I personally can't see why it didn't get away with a 15 certificate, certainly there's no individual scene in the film which would be rated 18.

So if you rent this expecting erotica you're going to be disappointed! What the film really is is basically a very very low budget very British comedy. The plot is weak but that's part of the whole point. As are the unbelievably bad special effects, the ludicrous dialogue, and the most over the top performances you've ever seen.

It's hard to compare this to any other film - I've never seen characters this bizarre, effects this bad and humour this British and irrelevant.

It's worth mentioning that Emily Booth's performance is absolutely amazing. It's like she was born for this film.

The saying 'you'll either love it or hate it' has definitely never been more appropriate. I'd be surprised if many people would rate this film anything other than 1 or 5 stars.

Rated - 2 starsBizarre and a bit boring

JamesMc from London [Highly rated reviewer] , 21/02/2006

This is like a lower budget Flesh Gordon, with no Full Frontal nudity. It all gets a bit boring by the end, but starts off fairly entertaining, with Jonathan Ross and Mark Lamar getting their heads lobbed off by a decaying Queen Victoria. One to get very stoned to.

Rated - 1 starsSad!

Being a fan of Emily Bouffante I was saddened to find her acting ability actually decrease in this movie.

Her performance in Bits a late night computer games show outshines her performance in this rubbish.

Rated - 1 starsToo bad

Now I love bad films, especially bad horror and sci-fi. Basically something that is refreshing from your run of the mill Hollywood blockbuster. However, this was too bad for even me. Pretty much like an A Level film student's effort.
