Radio Times
Donald Sutherland (MASH, Ordinary People) plays a doctor who suffers a heart attack while running a facility for the disabled. When a mentally challenged janitor (Matthew Fox) saves his life, he becomes the doctor's surrogate son — much to the chagrin of Sutherland's own son, who has long felt neglected by his father. Fox and Sutherland deliver honest performances under Tom McLoughlin's steady direction, while the emotional power of this sometimes maudlin true-life story ensures it's never boring.
