This is the touching tale of an orphaned bear cub who is adopted by an adult bear and learns to avoid hunters.

Anyone with only a slight appreciation of nature will not fail to enjoy this masterpiece. Visually stunning, with little dialogue, its not your 'run of the mill' action movie but it holds your attention for long periods. My fav' scene is when the male adult bear corners a hunter on a clifftop - the director captures his tremendous raw power and the helplessness of the hunter superbly. I've watched this film several times over the years and I've not tired of it yet. Rent it!!

Excellent. I absolutelty loved this film. I didn't know what to expect but it had me crying with laughter and at times I had to rewind and watch it again. I will buy this film.

Lovely film, almost documentary in style. Really enjoyed this one. A bit sad in places, but keeps it real. The children liked it for the cutesy element of the bear cub, and the slightly scary parts with the hunters.
