Brief synopsis of I Love You, I Love You Not

Prep school student Daisy and her European-born grandmother Nana share the sad stories of their lives: Daisy tells Nana of her romance with young Ethan and problems in school because she's Jewish; and Nana tells of her young years under Nazis when she was sent to ghetto and then to concentration camp.

This is an emotional journey of discovery portrayed through the eyes of a teenage girl ( Claire Danes) and her first real love (Jude Law)and the powerful bond she has with her beloved Grandmother (Jeanne Moreau) who was a survivor of Auschwitz.

This is a very powerful and moving story and it is quite beyond me why this has been placed in the comedy genre.

Well worth watching...
