Brief synopsis of Picture Perfect

Jennifer Aniston plays a plucky, perky, Prada-clad junior ad executive who pulls out all the stops hoping to snag a coveted account, but what her superiors really want is a mature, settled employee. What's a girl to do but increase her credibility by inventing a fiance from out of town, based on a random photo taken at a friend's wedding

In this good-natured romantic comedy from former Moonlighting director Glenn Gordon Caron, Friends star Jennifer Aniston plays a single girl who discovers that she needs a boyfriend to succeed at work. So she invents a fiancé using a photo of her with a complete stranger taken at a wedding. Of course, it's not long before her bosses want to meet the man (Jay Mohr), so she has to track him down, complicating the secret affair she's having with a corporate sleaze (a fun performance from Kevin Bacon). It's preposterous, perhaps, but sweetly done, and with the kind of turn from Aniston that is sure to satisfy her TV fans.

This is definately a film for the girls. My wife thought it was lovely 'yuk' but didn't do anything for me. Most women would love this. Good film in general. Would recommend to female friends.

Extremely light weight rom-com with Jennifer Aniston playing her usual persona but without her regular Friends. Kevin Bacon has a wonderful time playing the Don Juan 'baddie' and Illeana Douglas plays yet another best-friend-of-the-main-star for the walking-along-the-office-corridor-chatting-about-m en scenes, but other than that, both Aniston and the movie fade from the mind before the credits end.
