Teen drama may not be everyones cup of tea, but for those of us who can't help but enjoy the stuff, it doesn't come much better than the creek, in particular this season (3). The episodes aren't as cleverly crafted as season 1, but the storyline here tops all the other seasons (the pacey and joey 'friend'ship overarches most of the season, coming to a head in the final 6 episodes). For those who dismiss dawsons creek as schmaltzy american bs, well it can be, but no more so than the likes of er sometimes are - we're not talking a friends style i-love-you-guys-fest in this show. These teens see themselves as embittered and cynical and they talk like 20-something gen-xers, analysing everything they say and do, yet they're naive romantics underneath it all, which just makes the whole thing kind of sweet and familiar. If you like quality american drama, give this a go - you may find Dawson himself vile and annoying, but that didn't stop the rest of us enjoying 6 seasons of the show. A heads-up for fans: 40% of the music has once again been changed - this time including the theme song...

Rated - 5 starsBest episodes of season 3

A customer from Northampton, England , 06/10/2004

The four episodes on disc 6 are by far the best of the season. In all of them we see Joey, Pacey, Dawson, Jack and Jen make some major discoveries about themselves and love. I also found as a viewer these episodes the most emotionally charges of all I had ever seen in seasons 1,2 and 3. The acting has improved and it had been great to watch them grow as characters and as real people. This disc is the one for true romantics.

Although season 3 may get off to a bit of a slow start it is worth sticking with it to see the last four fantastic episodes.

Rated - 5 starsThe best so far

This is my favourite series so far. The story of the growing love between Pacey and Joey is great and the actors play out the roles wonderfully. The last 5 or 6 episodes are the best of the whole series. Also the story between Jen and Henry is really intersting to watch.

If you are in the Pacey and Joey camp, and thought the first two series were good, then you'll love this one.

I agree and would say the last few episodes are the best with my fav being Witch Island. Very Blair Witch but highly amusing!
