Brief synopsis of Friends - Series 10

All good things must come to an end, as the saying goes, and sitcoms are no exception. After nine incredibly successful seasons, it was time for FRIENDS to say farewell. In the series finale, Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) spot Chandler (Matthew Perry) leaving the city with a mysterious woman, so they trail him to a house in the suburbs. When they get back, they break the news to Monica (Courtney Cox), only to discover that the woman was a real estate agent and that the pair are finally calling it quits on the city. This sparks a series of tender reminiscences, featuring clips from previous episodes, providing viewers with a deeply emotional conclusion to a decade-long relationship. Also included are the series pilot and a version with previously unseen footage.

this final series of friends is superb. the episodes include:

'The One Where Chandler Gets Caught', - Phoebe and Rachel catch Chandler getting into a car with a blonde woman and think he's having an affair.

'The One Where The Stripper Cries', - Phoebe's bachelorette party features a rather unexpected surprise when the stripper shows up.

'The One With Phoebe's Wedding', ' - Phoebe asks Joey to give her away at her wedding. Monica's the wedding planner and she's driving Phoebe nuts. Chandler and Ross discover at the rehearsal dinner that neither of them has a part in the wedding.

The One Where Joey Speaks French', is the one where Joey tries to speak French again. Phoebe tries to teach Joey to speak French for an audition. Surrogate mom Erica is visiting town and tells the Bings that the baby's father may be a shovel killer.

'The One With Princess Consuela', is where Phoebe changes her name to Princess Consuela Bananahammock. After Mike changes his name to Crap Bag, she decides to just be Phoebe Buffay-Hannigan.

'The One Where Estelle Dies', - Ross tries to get Rachel rehired at Ralph Lauren. He succeeds, but after Rachel tells him how scared she is about moving to Paris, he's convinced she should go. Phoebe discovers that Joey's agent Estelle died and, since his life has been changing so much recently, doesn't want to tell him.

'The One With Rachel's Going Away Party', - With Rachel leaving, the gang throws her a small going away party. She says goodbye to each of her friends individually, except for Ross.

'The Last One - Part 1' and 'The Last One - Part 2'. - Ross wants to be with Rachel, but she still wants to go to Paris. He tries to tell her about his feelings, but Gunther beats him to it. Ross and Phoebe chase Rachel to the airport, but end up at the wrong one. Mayhem ensues.

A lot of serious stuff happens in these episodes, that settle the future for Friends, including Monica and Chandler buying a house, Phoebe getting married and Rachel getting a job in Paris.

well worth renting out.

Well its the last espisode of Friends - ever. Its a bit pradictable and lame but of course thats not going to stop me watching it.

Anyway this DVD is worth getting out because it has 5 or 6 special features, which any fan of the show will find interesting.

Friends of Friends parts 1,2 and 3 are interviews with a lot of the actors who played the main re-occuring characters such as; Janice, Jack and Judy Geller, Julie, Carol, Ben, Nora Bing, Estelle etc etc.

There's an in-depth look at behind the scenes of Friends, the whole process that goes into making one episode from start to finish. Writing, set-dressing, re-writes, rehersals, recording, editing, sound effects, music, screening, etc.

But best of all is the gag-reel, showing a lot of funny moments when they can't get their lines right or they keep cracking each other up or are joking around. It made me laugh almost as much as the show.

This is the end of an era, the end of Friends! For 10 years this show has made us laugh and now it’s the finale.

I must admit I will miss it, and I hope something as good comes along soon.

I will rely on the Simpson’s for great TV, as Futurama and now Friends have snuffed it. Mmm Bong!

Having seen these episodes I can tell you they are great, and even if they weren't I would still advise you to watch it, if only for closure!

Just rent it!

One of the best series out of them all. The storylines revolving around more adult issues such as marriage, babies and adoption provide fresh new material and tons hilarious moments. If, like me, you thought Friends had lost the quality years ago, this series proves that it is still one of the best sitcoms ever made. If you missed series 10 and like the show, especially in the early years, this series will not disappoint.
