Gruesomely extended revue sketch which totally fails to develop its characters and offers instead a very sparing amount of cleverness.

Rated - 5 starsOriginal storyline, great music, Excellent feel good Movie.

I saw this on VHS way back in the 80's. My then, young children, loved it(so did I). It has romance, humour & a hint of sadness. A computer develops feelings?? for an attractive young lady and causes mayhem for its shy Male owner. Great music from Culture Club at the ending. I would like to see this Movie again on DVD.

This movie has one of the best soundtracks ever. The film is great, and was the reason i got into computers. Comedy, romance and a brilliant theme tune. A must see film.

Rated - 5 starsMy Favourite ALL TIME movie!

Anthony Bolton from Bolton, Lancashire , 27/01/2006

I think us Electric Dreams supporters should start campaigning for a remastered version of this DVD to be released!

Everyone here gives it 4 or 5 stars and Richard Branson ( Excecutive Producer remember?) should look into getting this movie onto DVD more than his hair-brained space flights!

The Story,The characters,The Soundtrack, Everything make this film movie perfect (thankfully my DVD recorder purchase let me put my VHS copy to DVD) but PLEASE release this movie in a remastered version 'pretty please' as Edgar himself says :-))
