Brief synopsis of Euro Trip

Poor Scott (Scott Mechlowicz) finds out his girlfriend is cheating on him and then thinks his European pen-pal Mike is trying to start a homosexual affair via e-mail. Once he realizes Mike is actually Mieke, a beautiful German girl, he and his buddy Cooper (Jacob Pitts) take off for Europe on a madcap quest to find her, discovering plenty of raunchy sex along the way. Hooking up with nerdy Jamie (Travis Wester) and his twin sister (Michelle Trachtenberg), they bond with soccer thugs in London, battle mimes in France, eat brownies in Amsterdam, guzzle absinthe in a European dance club, and generally raise mayhem. Gags include a grope-happy train passenger, a child impersonating Hitler, and some near incest. Matt Damon cameos as the punk rocker who belts out the hit song "Scottie Doesn't Know." Lucy Lawless (XENA) is a dominatrix in an Amsterdam sex club. The laughs are well earned and there's plenty of nudity and sex to satisfy the demanding audience for films of this sort (it's directed and produced by the team behind OLD SCHOOL and ROAD TRIP). Best of all are the performances from the four leads, who eschew the usual over-the-top mugging in favor of a more low-key approach to the material.

Rated - 5 starsAbsolutely Hilarious

A customer from Edinburgh, Scotland , 30/10/2004

I have to say that I had low expectations for this film as it didn't seem to be at the cinema for long but I was delighted to be wrong - it is brilliant! If you liked American Pie, then you will love this. Just as good as the first Pie, better than 2 & 3, and certainly much better than that other famous teen sex comedy Road Trip. On top of that is a surprisingly catchy and very funny theme tune!

Highly recommended! But not for prudes, young teens or those who are easily offended (especially Germans, or Catholics as the setting includes the Vatican City) - definitely deserves its 15 rating, must have been close to 18.

Rated - 5 starsAn Awesome Teen Movie

A customer from Berkshire, England , 01/11/2004

I was a bit skeptical going into watching this, but even the initial credits got me laughing. Vinny Jones is AWESOME in this, it's one you just have to see. American Pie fans will be satisfied with the gratuitous sexual humour, but even the most AP skeptic will get a laugh out of this one.

Catholics, Germans etc are all made fun of but, as I have a German/Catholic friend who enjoyed immensely, it isn't a turn off!!

A must see.

Very good film, very much an American Pie/Road Trip-esque comedy film with the usual snippet of nudity thrown in along the way, what more could you want.

This film will appeal to both males and females, definitely watch it if you get a chance.

Rated - 5 starsSurprisingly Amazing

I got it mainly because i was bored, but watched it every day for a week. This film is amazing, beating all of its peers hands down. I thought because it was released late on in the teen movie craze, it would be embarassing. Far from it, this is the peak of that craze and if it had been released before any of the others, it would have been a massive smash. Watch it, just for the train bit.
