Rated - 5 starsSomehow, still works

In this new millenia, the special effects and storylines from this 60's classic can seem laughable.

But if you are of a certain age when this was series aired on the BBC, then nothing (except maybe Dr. Who) compares with the magic. The brilliant colours, the memorable signature tune, the whacky creatures, the pompous Kirk and his vampire-like Vulcan sidekick, the miniskirts, the fake accents...sheer adolescent heaven.
