Detective Hercule Poirot expects to enjoy a quiet weekend in his country cottage when he becomes involved in a murder at the neighboring manor house...

The Hollow is classic David Suchet Poirot. Production values are at the top, acting is just slightly over, and plot twists sustain interest without getting too silly. Watched on DVD, without ad breaks, a a very satisfying meal. But don't rent more than one a month - they quickly become very indigestible.
