Rated - 3 starsCan women live without men?

The film is about four women who share a house known by the locals as the 'House Of Babes.' They owe money for a loan they took to set up their own feminist magazine Biotch, which has not been that successful. A friend who has so far spent 5 years on a 2 year women?s studies course fails to do her course work on time. To buy extra time she embarks on a project for her course that involves a group of straight women living together for 100 days that have no contact with men ? no talking, no flirting, no sex etc. She then has to talk her friends into taking on the challenge and does so by telling them she will give them her money from her college grant enabling them to pay off their loan. News gets out about the fast and some men start to feel uncomfortable. To makes things worse a person has put up a large cash reward for the first man that can break the fast. As a result groups of men hang round outside the house. The women are not allowed to stay in the house but have to get on with their every day activities. Can they make the 100 days? Has one of the women betrayed the group when some evidence is produced by a newspaper?

The film has a slow start but does pick up as you are eager to find out the outcome of the project. Is amusing and a fun film.
