Brief synopsis of Neil Young - Friends And Relatives Live From Red Rock Amphitheatre

The Godfather of Grunge is back (not that he ever really left) on this two-hour live performance video. Filmed at Colorado's Red Rocks Ampitheatre, this concert features the legendary rocker kicking out all sorts of jams -- from anthemic rock songs to acoustic ballads -- with his talented backing band. A highly original and inspiring performance, complete with a rainstorm and a farfisa, results! The set list includes "Harvest Moon," "Razor Love," "Cowgirl In The Sand," and many more.

Good picture quality, a wide range of audio options make this a quality DVD.

Neil rocks it (accompanied by Rolf Harris by the looks of him), even when the rain starts coming down.

Nothing in the way of extras, interviews or non-concert footage really.

Be warned - he doesn't play many of the old hits, it's more of a folk/rock medly.

Not the best footage, but there are some excellent Neil Young moments that any Neil fan, as I am, will enjoy - when the guitar just takes over and has Neil totally under it's influence - that is just how it seems to me - that the guitar takes over, Neil is almost a slave to it! He is a superb artist, watch out for the female backing singers who bugged me immensely at the beginning, Neil has some surprising news about them!

This is very basic, just concert footage, of old guys playing, not a great selection of songs. No extras. For fans only.Although "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere " is fantastic.
