Rating of 2 stars out of 5 Radio Times

This stagey, moody, ambiguous love triangle, played in and around a holiday hotel in winter, will either intrigue or irritate, depending on one's predilection. The plot, such as it is, consists of the sex/power games played by three people: a middle-aged woman (Vanessa Redgrave), her teenage daughter (Susan George) and an American (Cliff Robertson) who enters their lives 20 years after his affair with the older woman. Director Alan Bridges cleverly teases suspense from the conflict, but although the performances are excellent, the female roles are, by today's standards, sexual stereotypes.

This film starting off slow, stayed slow and stopped in the middle when we turned off the DVD player.

Completely unwatchable.

If you want to feel depressed and miserable, this is the film for you. The story line's dull and it's the worst waste of a couple of hours.

Well it has to be said that normally something with Dennis Hopper in is always a little edgy but this was a disappointment. The film slowly unwinds and I mean sloooowly, then everything happens at once and its over!, I am not the best critic as I like to see something good in all movies but if I am honest there was nothing good here - what a shame Dennis Hopper can do much better and I would recommend avoiding this movie (the star is for Dennis Hopper - he still can hold a stare!!)

Rated - 1 starsTOTALLY DIRE

This is comically poor, the dubbing isn't even in line with the speech. Dennis Hopper has seriously gone down in my estimation after this rubbish. AVOID! Waste of time. Absolutely apalling.
