ABC's fantasy-dramedy captured Lois' side of the classic comic-book tale, thanks the quirky ingenue's scene stealing ability to display steely strength one minute, snappy comic timing the next, and gooey romanticism after that...

Rated - 5 starsIt's About Time !!!!

Piperf from Crewe , 26/11/2005

I have waited so long for this series to come to DVD !!! I used to watch this evry saturday evening. At the time i thought it was ace. Dean Cain was maybe a little too obvious for the Superman role. A bit too muscle man but did well none the less but, it was Teri Hatcher who really impressed, Her Lois Lane is what Lois was all about. She was vulnerable but kicked ass !!! She was good with the butt kicking !!! Some of the stories were a bit lame but the cast saved it. Roll on the rest of the series. Can;t wait for the Ultra Woman episodes.

Rated - 5 starsOutstanding

A customer from Wales , 23/12/2005

Its been a long time coming to dvd, and I for one will be pleased, Its what i used to stay in for every saturday(and noels house party, the acting is some of the best around, okay some episodes tend to go over the top but its still enjoyable, the 1st season shows a different jimmy olsen as he's replaced in season 2 on by Justin whalin but they both do a very good job of projecting the character, As for Dean Cain as Clark/S,man He really should be 1st pick for the new movie they have in the pipeline, simply because he along with teri hatcher as lois Potray the lives of lois and clark best

Rated - 3 starsA nostalgic blast from t.v's past

Paul Dawson from Devon, England , 14/03/2006

The first time I saw this I was very young and enjoyed it immensely. Watching it again I slipped back into nostalgic bliss, but I realised that certain characters were slightly annoying. Everything is a little too sugar coated and watching from a more mature point of view I've realised this stuff is probably most appreciated by kids. Having said that it is far from being bad and it does have a certain amount of charm, or maybe that's just nostalgia.

Rated - 5 starsA Super new take on the man of steel

MHP7VoDVGH from Surrey, England , 21/12/2006

This is a fantastic comdey series about a modern Lois Lane and Clark Kent and his alter ego Superman. The cast are fantastic, the stories are fantastic and I liked the special features but it would of been nice to hear Teri Thatcher (Lois Lane)'s commentary too. Definitely for new and old Supermna fans alike!
