Brief synopsis of Stuart Little 3

The CGI animated sequel to the hit film franchise. It’s Stuart to the rescue in this all-new, fun-filled family adventure. When the Littles decide to spend their summer vacation in the Great Outdoors, they have no idea that the Beast -- a mountain lion who rules the wild with an iron paw -- is lurking nearby. So when Snowball wanders into the woods and is captured, it’s up to Stuart to save his friend and free the forest animals from the Beast’s evil claws. It’s a big job for a Little mouse, but someone’s got to do it!

The one thing that the film makers seemed to forget was that the thing that makes Stuart Little 1 & 2 so interesting is the clever mix of live action and animation. Opting for full "cartoon" animation here takes the whole point of the film series away.

It is nice that all the vocal talents remain the same, and the story itself is passable, but the magic of the previous films is not present here. A watchable kids movie, but it could have been so much better.

toni mort from england , 18/03/2006

Hey there, spose i should read the write up for the dvd before renting, lol, ordered this as me and the kids enjoyed the other two movies, well what a disappointment it was animated and not a proper movie like the other two,MAYBE IT COULD BE A BIT MORE CLEARLY MARKED THAT IT WAS ANIMATED? we watched about 25mins of it, re-enveloped it and posted it straight back to ya.

Rated - 1 starsWell what can I say

I agree with the other comments I like stuart little 1 and 2, because of the mix of live action and animation.

This film entertained the children, but would have been so much better if it had followed the same lines instead of a full cartoon.

My 13 year old who liked the other two films, but did not wish to watch this at any price.

Rated - 4 starsQuite liked it

I actually quite liked it, but, hey, I am only 5 years old. My bro, 8, found it a bit silly. Definitely previous charm is gone and this is a much cheaper production.
