Rated - 5 starsSUPERIOR DRAMA

A customer from Manchester, UK , 19/01/2006

This is a magnificent series.......

A great cast reads like a who's who of British Acting, Timothy West, David Suchet, Kevin Whateley, Keith Allen, Keeley Hawes, Diana Rigg and on & on.

The quality of the stories is maintained throughtout the three series's, each episode is a self-contained drama with no carry over of storyline or cast into any of the others.

This makes for variety and interest.

I saw this series when originally screened and certain ones have always stayed in the memory. The Adam Faith, the Dennis Waterman as well as the Kevin Whateley in Series 1, but I have been coninually suprised and delighted by the rest.

All murder drama's, some where they get away with it others where they dont, all very believable which is the reason why they are so good........

Try this Complete Three Series set, if you like good acting and great stories you will enjoy them.

if you enjoy seeing ex-eastenders or grange hill actors trying to do 'mysterious' and adult drama then this may be for you. the episode with steve mcfadden from esatenders in particular put me off renting the rest of this series. badly acted, rubbish story that tries for an ambiguous ending only to look like it cant really make its mind up. pretentious twaddle.
