Rated - 5 starsExcellent little tales with twists

Anne Mears from Somerset, UK , 08/04/2006

I like these. Sometimes the twist, such as it is, is obvious, but even so the acting is believable, and the stories are neat and well crafted. These don't give you nightmares and all the ends are tidied neatly away, but that doesn't make them any less enjoyable. A sandwich and a cuppa after work and one of these short stories gave me many a pleasant evening.

Rated - 5 starsSUPERIOR DRAMA SERIES

A customer from Manchester, UK , 11/01/2006

The Murder in Mind series now issued in three seperate series really is top class drama at it's best.

The cast is almost like a Who's Who of British television, from Pauline Quirke, Annette Crosby, Ann Stallybrass to Dennis Waterman, Adam Faith, Nigel Havers and many, many more.

Each episode is a self contained murder story, they are all different and there is no ongoing thread or cast members.

The quality of the scriptwriting is first class throughout.

Overall this series is a delight to anyone who likes good acting and good storytelling.

I particularly remembered the story starring Adam Faith from my original viewing, it was so original that it had stuck in my memory ever since. It was also one of the last things Adam did for television and the great pity was that such a natural actor was so underused.

Try this great series, you will be in for a real treat.
