Rated - 2 starsDisappointing

I'd heard good things about this anim?, and ordered it on the basis of those reviews. Shame they were wrong.

Although the continuing love story between the two central characters is sweet, the culmination of the whole thing is vague, confusing and appears out of nowhere. It's also overshadowed by Belldandy's annoying sisters, who scream and whine and generally spoil the whole thing. Anim? completists might get a kick out of this, but otherwise there's no point watching it.

Rated - 4 starsIf only the series were longer

The animation and story in this series are top-quality - however, at only five episodes (two on this disc), it's incredibly fast - something like nine months from the first episode to the last. I've heard they're doing another version in Japan right now, which expands more on the storyline, which will definitely be worth watching. As for this one, it's a different type of love-story compared with 'Love Hina' and 'Sakura Diaries', but you may be disappointed with how short it is. The characters though are superbly animated, drawn, and voiced, and each has enough about them to make you care. Maybe watching the movie later will add to the experience. I hope.

Rated - 4 starsNot the best Japanese animation.

I gave this four stars as my daughter really loves it. This is one of the few Japanese animations that I pass on. I have to admit it sometimes has some sexual implications to it but luckily it goes over my 7 year old daughter's head.
