Rated - 3 starsA Nostalgic (if not enjoyable) Journey

Back in the early 1990's, it was Sonic the Hedgehog that got me into buying the Sega Megadrive. I was in the queue at my local game shop on Sonic twosday and Sonic 3rds day.

With this in mind, I was really looking forward to reliving my past.

However, within 20 minutes of playing this compilation I was bored. Time has not been so kind to young Sonic. The games are very easy and repetitive. The Game Gear games aren't even worth looking at.

If you are a massive Sonic fan then this is worth playing purely for sentimental reasons. If you have not played Sonic before, forget it.
