Portraying the life and loves of Princess Margaret.

Not quite sure what the other (negative) reviewers are complaining about, I thought this was a cracking 'made-for-TV' film that was up to the usual Channel Four high standards of production.Simon C-J's production is a classy drama that captures the era well. An incredibly sexy Lucy Cohu in the title role is fantastic, and Toby Stevens gives his usual fine performance. The film both manages to anger the viewer with Margaret's parasitical indulgences at the tax payers expense, but also feel for her in the sad, lonelyness of her twilight years ..

I can't believe I wasted my time watching this trash! Take my advice, don't bother.

I must admit that when I started watching this I was a little sceptical, but as the film progressed I was fascinated to understand her life. The actress playing Princess Margaret was great, especially in portraying her later, sad and lonely later years. I do recommend viewing this.

Very disappointing. The acting was bad and so was the story.
