Being an Aussie guy myself I love the chance to watch an Aussie film. Very dry, probably some of the humour is only funny if you know the Aussie way of life at the time.

Far better than I expected, am sorry gave this a miss at the cinema

Oh dear....How could a film that is about one of the twentieth centuries most charismatic figures be so mind numbingly dull. Dennis Hooper as Frank Sinatra sounds like inspired casting and to be fair he's not half bad, but my God the film is.

Rated - 2 starsFilm not bad, shame about the casting

I was looking forward to this film as a sinatra fan. However, although the film kept me entertained from start to finish and has some touching moments, it is let down considerably by Hopper who plays the most unconvincing sinatra ever. The Singing performances leave a lot to be desired - no spark!

This was one of the worst films i have ever seen. Well to give it the benefit of the doubt i only watched half of it because i couldnt stand to watch anymore. Dennis Hopper is a legend and the idea for him to play all american hero Sinatra, i thought i couldnt go wrong. It was more like the idea of when massive actors star in sitcoms/soaps e.g. Bruce Willis in Friends. This was Hopper in Home and Away. If you think this idea is good and enjoy Australian amateur film then rent it out

what an interesting story - a bit schmaltzy in parts but likeable enough. i'm not old enough to know how much of it is based on truth but the characters were beliveable and you felt part of the movie - good stuff.

This film had it's nice moments but overall it wasn't good. The australian guy playing the promoter was good and Dennis Hopper does a good Frank Sinatra, but I'm afraid I couldn't last the whole film. Nice try, but not recommended.
