Return Of A Legend.....?

OK, I've played Tomb Raider since I got my first PlayStation back at Christmas 1996 (with FIFA 97 & Tomb Raider!). The first game was like nothing I'd ever seen. The second was an utter disappointment, shooting random people in Venice!!! #3, toughest game so far IMO. Revelations, not bad, but nothing special. Chronicles was IMO a last minute cash in for the PS1. AoD, very good, but there was something that just wasn't there. But Legend, well barring the ease of the game, and the hints everywhere, it's solid game. 4/5 on the grapics, the controls, hmm, weird, as Lara doesn't seem to be confined to jumping in a perfect line as with old TR's. But I think it's brilliant. Rented from SS, then went out and bought it. An absolute gem, touch wood it'll get a we bit tougher for the next one!

Great looking game and I can see what they were trying to do with this but the controls for the PS2 are flaky and the game kind of nannies you throughout telling you what to press. What were they thinking, overall more annoying than fun.
