I found this game to be one of the most annoying games I have ever played. There are a number of problems with the game that could of been easily solved if the developers could be bothered. First, the camara angle will drive you completely crazy. The default camara will show you the court from what it looks like on TV but when you change ends you end up with your player all the way at the back of the court, which makes the game suprisingly difficult to control. You will end up using a different camara angle which is only a small improvement since the ball can be difficult to spot.

Secondly, the AI is really, really annoying. Not difficult annoying but repetative annoying. At first you will end up being beaten by the same shot over and over again until you start to use cheap shots like using the lobs and side spins to win. Finnally, the gameplay is akward, since if u press a button for a fraction too long or move the stick a fraction to much to the left it will almost certainly go out.

The graphics and sound wont blow you away, but are fairly decent and the menu presentation is done fairly well and simple enough to navigate. In the end this game promised to be as close to tennis as you can get and fails mainly due to the cheap gameplay and annoying AI, also I wouldn't bother with Xbox live games since its full of players using cheesey gameplay.

The game doesn't work with a VGA cable. I couldn't be bothered to dig out and use the component cable.

Top Spin 2 has no ambition to redefine how tennis games are played. It just delivers a responsive and well-rounded tennis game that shouldn't be missed by fans. If u like tennis then its definatley worth renting!!

This game will work now with hdmi cable. you need to install a few patches with your vga cable first but it will work.

The game is quite decent and the career is fun for a weekend's entertainment. Tennis fans will love it.

online was hard work to even find a game.

Never has a game promised so much and delivered nothing. Difficult to control, impossible to score against the AI controlled players the only good thing about it was that Hoobastank provided the opening theme.

I give it one star but thats only because the option of half a star wasn't available
