Rated - 5 starsThe greatest game ever?

Perhaps, but please don't rent it from here. This is a game that is made by the controller, and you need the guitar to play it properly. Worth every penny of the £50 asking price, just doesn't work on a regular joypad though.

*** A WARNING FOR PS3 OWNERS ***

I own Guitar Hero 3 with the wireless guitar controller for the PS3. Unfortunately the wireless controller will not work with this game, you can only use a Sixaxis pad. I probably wouldn't have rented this game if I'd known. It's still good (although I was surprised to find the songs were covers and not original artists. as is the case with guitar hero 3 on PS3). Also you cannot play this game on the PS2 using the wireless guitar. Hope that helps someone out there !!!

Rated - 4 starsRockin' stuff, but not for rental

A customer from uk , 02/10/2006

Superb idea, brilliantly executed, immense fun - the only downside is the harder modes get HARD and you may get incredibly frustrated trying (and more than likely failing) to nail those sequences!

But - do not rent! This game is as much about the controller as anything else. Buy it ;)
