Brief synopsis of Alien Autopsy

From the director of Shameless and Phoenix Nights comes the truth behind one of the biggest hoaxes the world has ever seen. In 1995 a piece of footage shook the world. With a bigger world-wide audience than Live Aid, a piece of top secret military film from Roswell in 1947 that showed and alien autopsy, was broadcast across the globe. This film was brought to the attention of best friend Ray and Gary. What follows is an chaotic and insane frenzy that thrusts these two friends into the limelight as they try and uncover the truth...

Rated - 4 starsGreat entertainment

This was not my choice of film - got dragged there by my teenage kids - but I was surprised at how much the film grabbed me! I'm not a fan of Ant & Dec but they did a great job, even showing some signs of acting skills. Loved the documentary style of the film and while there is a little blood & gore involved it is lightened by the humour of the situation. There are also a few shock moments, but all in all a good watch.

Rated - 4 starsIts Not A Comedy!

A customer from UK , 27/07/2006

I, like a number of people assumed this would be a comedy, after all it had Ant & Dec in the lead roles, but although there were some great moments, it soon proved this was not a comedy in the 'laugh out loud' sense! I really did enjoy this film, it was great to see Ant & Dec move beyond their type cast image, & I really believe they did a great job in this 'true story'. I remember when the alien autopsy story broke, & like many others was fascinated by the footage that unfolded on my TV, this film puts the 'hoax' in to context & does leave you wondering. For a pure bit of escapism I think this film is well worth a watch.

Rated - 1 starsAwful

This film was bad, as it had no idea what type of film it wanted to be. When it tried to be serious you expected Any and Dec to start laughing. The storyline in the out takes was far more interesting than the film itself. Don't bother with it...not even for curiosity.
