If you don't leave this documentary wide-eyed and slack-jawed by the stupidity of political madness you're as dumb as any other person that ignores this fascinating and deeply moving film. A tragic loss of life.

I quite enjoyed this story and found it very well documented.

However I was amazed by the complete incompetence of the German authorities when it came to attempting a rescue of the Israeli athletes and this you will see at various times throughout the footage.

If you like true life, informative and interesting documentaries then you will no doubt enjoy this but be prepared to be Gob smacked by the bumbling and sheer madness of the so called German rescue team!

An absolutely riviting recreation of that one day in September 1972 that had the world stunned. Jaw-dropping theatrical documentaries come along once in a while (Bowling for Columbine was perhaps the last), and One Day... certainly falls into that category. If you've yet to see Munich, then watch this first as it fills you in on the background and makes the Spielberg movie all the more chilling.

An incredible, fast paced documentary which highlights the inadequacies of a nations attempt to deal with a terrorist threat! Mixing the excitement of the Olympics with the horror suffered by those held captive, a truly remarkable film which I would recommend to anyone interested in sport, documentaries or film-making in general.
