Brief synopsis of Ultraviolet

In the mid-21st century, a virus has turned part of the earth's population into hemophages, vampire-like creatures with heightened speed and dexterity, and a fascist government is intent on stamping them out. Enter Violet (Milla Jovovich), a hemophage determined to fight for her people. Her battle takes an unexpected turn, however, when she finds herself protecting Six (Cameron Bright), a mysterious young child who was raised in a lab...

People saying this is 'crap', what were they expecting? Shakespeare? It's a fantastic fun piece of light entertainment. Beautifully directed and very stylish. First rate sci fi fun at it's most accessible and enjoyable

Rated - 1 starsOne of the worst films I have even seen.

I love movies like The Matrix and Ghost In The Shell but Ultraviolet was tedious and boring. Repetitive action and fight scenes with dialogue that either makes you unintentionally laugh out loud or cringe.

Rated - 1 starsUtter crap

What a mess - a flashy, mess of a movie that only has some decent fight scenes to recommend it. There's so much CGI it hurt my eyes to watch. A thin, rubbish script, bad acting... gah, what a waste of time!!

Well enjoyed. Ok its not the best film on the market, but it don't half punch hard. The fight scenes can lose themselves and you momentarily but are most certainly in the same class as Matrix or Equilibrium. Vampire movies can often get a little cliched but this takes a classic creature and throws it at top speed into the future, somewhat like Underworld.

Excellent visual treats and plenty to 'sink your teeth into'.
