Give it a go, you may like it

First of all let's dismiss all the confusion about American Football... it's not rugby with padding for soft Americans! Football is all about tactial warfair and nouse. You need to outwhit the opposition chief over a series of 'plays'.

This game is a brilliant representation of the sport. It looks stunning both in the cut scenes and in open play. The players react like individuals who think independantly. It is a superb game which you should try.

So after all my words of praise you may ask why I haven't given this all 5 stars? Simple! The game makers have left some features out of the XBOX 360 version that where in others. That, EA Sports, is not on!

I liked it so much I bought it. If you like sports rent it and see. You may actually like it!

Pretty good game.

Gamerscore alert - you can only get 990 points in the EU. Greedy EA created a 10 point achievement that requires you to have another one of their games - a college football game. Problem is it was only released in the U.S.

780 points are a piece of cake. The final 210 are for Superstar mode and take a fair bit of time and patience.

So - a bit of an awkward one for points but it is a good game - but there again the 08 version is out there if you want it just for that.
