Brief synopsis of Just Cause

James Bond not doing it for you? Turn to Rico Rodriguez then, the protagonist of Just Cause. The top gun of the Agency that he represents, Ricos mission is to single-handedly satisfy the US strategy in bringing regime change to the dangerous land of San Esperito. How does he plan to do this? Simply get there, trash the place, create an uprising revolution, and round it all off by assassinating the President.

San Esperito might be an island nation, but in terms of the size of the game world in Just Cause, youll be playing in a massive playing field where you are given free reign to do whatever you like when not following your objectives. With 250,000 acres of game world to explore and traverse, its unlikely youre ever going to be bored of the place.

And when it comes to travel in such a large area, its only fitting that Rico uses all means necessary to get from A to B. A mighty impressive 89 vehicles that cover land, sea and air transport are at your beck and call, and Rico can perform some amazing stunts that can see him skydiving, riding off of cars and leaping from helicopters to boats, to get the result that you, the gamer, want to achieve from your missions.

With a plethora of primary, secondary and side missions to enjoy, along with the freeform style of game play, Just Cause looks like the perfect operative to put to work in your console if youre bored of the regime in your living room.

This game was newish as it is very similar to GTA however the graphics were nothing to write home about and the controls at first were a bit of a nightmare to get used to.

Game is good for just running ariund using the paracheute etc but it gets boring but then again i am not a big fan of GTA games either.

Just felt that the graphics could have been made so much better.

Rated - 5 starsFinally new ideas

Absolutely agree with Anthony's review. This game is definitely must buy, if you don't believe just rent it and you'll see. Control is absolutely easy, even helicopters and planes. There are some bugs, yes but how many are in other games likes Oblivion. Story is good, action is excellent, graphics beautiful. Music is above average, dynamic but it's personal taste. Definitely like flying with helicopters and even do liberation missions in combat helicoper!!! I like to have a choice how to solve problems and this game give you plenty of choice.I hope they solve all minor bugs and problems in patch. 5 stars

Rated - 5 starsFantastic rental title

I have just finished this game in 12 hrs and sent it back, so as the title says it is an excellent rental title. Personally I have owned all the GTA's and this game definately adds its own ideas. I think the GTA series is getting quite stale and it is a stroke of genius that the developers for Just Cause added a 'stunt' button enabling you to cause all manor of mayhem. The missions do get quite samey - collect this, blow up this, eliminate such and such - but when renting a title longetivity cant be your priority surely?? Plus it was a contender in the best visuals award category for Edge magazine's annual awards, so you know it has fantastic eye candy to show off that x360 to your mates!

When i first played Just Cause i thought why wouls someone make a game that bad but I gave the game a second try and I got a bit further into the game and fell in love with it when i realised how amazing the things are on e.g. the massive island to explore and the tons of wepons and veichles avalible.

a xbox 360 classic!
