Rated - 5 starsIt's unavailability makes it a must have!!

I thought I'd be imune from the hype but once it gets to you, it is impossible to ignore. It's 'unavailable' and that's what keeps you coming back for more -- a very astute piece of marketing.

The cinematography, artwork and direction are masterly. The CGI is excellent and advances computer SFX more than any film to date.

The esoteric questions asked by this title rival Bergman at his most phlegmatic: for instance, how temporary is 'temporarily'? Scary stuff.

If you see no other movie in your lifetime, catch this one! It's that good.

This film is a dull piece of nothingness,

There is no plot, the story goes nowhere,The acting is empty and as for the ending!!!!!!!!!!!

I was left feeling I had been conned.

At last! The 'lost' director's cut has been lovingly restored by Limbo Studios. This has it all: the legendary Brando-Monroe marshmallow roasting scene, Joan Crawford's cameo as Bette Davis, Martin Scorsese's first film role as the unloved child, and of course the then ground-breaking 'never-ending' credits, here seen for the first time in their original 14 hour glory. Released to coincide with the publication of Alan Smithee's book on the making of the film, 'Your Cheque is in the Post'.
