When I watched the film, the quality looked as though it was made in the late eighties. Whereas it was only shown on TV 17 years ago. But still a good film, just rather short!

The acting in this is reminicent of Bill Forsyth's That Sinking Feeling (but without the charm!), and the plot is thin and cliched. But the real entertainment here is spotting actors who have gone on to bigger (and better) things. The most obvious example of this is Ashley (Extras, Ugly Betty) Jensen, who must cringe when reminded of this appearance. All-in-all it's worth a look if only for the nostalgia factor.

When it started it was a wee bit slow.Billy Connelly is good in it.Its set in Glasgow.Could believe it was set just down the road from me in Shawlands years ago and its not changed.
