Rated - 4 stars...and out the ballpark

Mbub from Westbury, Wilts , 19/06/2007

This film is about a raccoon who has to find a whole trolley load of food to give to a hungry bear. This was a very well animated film and the characters were very life-like. The whole family enjoyed this one and it had a good story and funny and serious moments throughout. Very pleased with this one.

Rated - 5 starsGREAT FUN!

AdyBassMan from Exeter [Highly rated reviewer] , 31/01/2007

Excellent, excellent, EXCELLENT! Very funny & entertaining......for kids and adults alike! And the script, screenplay and animation are all first class. I've grown a bit tired of these sort of movies in recent years, but I'll put this in my top three alongside Shrek & Monsters Inc. Highly recommended!!

Rated - 3 starsGreat family entertainment...

Laura from Lincolnshire, U.K , 23/05/2007

You can't really go wrong with 'Over The Hedge'. This is a great film for all the family - obviousley kids of all ages will adore it....cute characters with zany antics and comedy faces. As ever there are various themes that adults will quickly pick up on but the kids will miss (ah, the innocence of childhood!) .... we all recognise the pushy and unbearable neighbourhood co-ordinator type and the overwieght balding jobsworth white van man, which provide equally as many laughs as the main animal based characters. The film is less than 1 1/2 hours in total, which is a bonus as animated features (no matter how good they are) become mind-numbing after too long. Another plus is the host of recognisable voice actors used for the main characters. Get your popcorn and fizzy drinks, grab a bean bag, relax and enjoy!

Rated - 4 starsGreat for Adults

Julian Hunter from Norwich , 02/01/2007

I'm not really a fan of animated movies, I find it hard to concentrate on them but my girlfriend on the other hand love's them so I got talked into watching this and to my great surprised it was really good I don't think there was any point where I lost concentration, it was hilarious all the way though, I would actually watch it again and probably even buy it, great for a light entertainment evening, to suit all ages. Must see

Not side splitting funny, but a pleasant way to spend an hour and half.

Rated - 5 starsChildren LOVED this! :o)

Jamjar from Geordieland! , 29/08/2007

Yes, it was a great all rounder of a film, some moral issues like not to think of ones self and some pointers too for grown ups concerning the evironment.

The amount of work that went into making this film is absolutely astounding, the cgi, the research into the actual animals is really quite educational.

The story, characters, cgi, well, all of it, is very funny and well entertaining oh, and the children enjoyed it immensely too, lol! :o)

5 outta 5...BRILLIANT! :o)
