Rated - 4 starsWhat real Heroes are all about

A customer from UK , 18/07/2007

Watched this film and was very pleasantly suprised. The film is based on the real life story of Vincent Francis Papale. He's an example to us all about what we can achieve when we simply try but above all that real heroes come in all shapes and sizes and good guys don't always come last.

I'm an Eagles fan now!!!!

Well done Wahlberg too.!!!!

Rated - 3 starsIt's what you'd expect

Invincible is your average feel-good movie. You already know how it ends so there's little suspense; the performances are decent; the football choreography is hit and miss (no pun... ok, pun intended); the script is more or less on par with others of the same genre.

Little of note happens through most of the movie, but there are 2 scenes which really grabbed me - when he makes the cut and the final scene.

Nothing in particular to love or hate about Invincible, but the 2 scenes make for a worthwhile watch on a rainy Saturday afternoon.

Rated - 5 starsAbsolutly Brilliant

A customer from East Yorkshire. , 03/03/2008

My wife and I enjoyed this so much we watched it twice before sending it back, I even recomended it to my daughter, Mark Wahlberg played the part of Vincent Papale brilliantly, Showing that any man can be a great Football Player if the determination is there, Which in Vincent Papale case succeeded the odds against the other players and also showing his triumph & tribulations to achieve his ultimate goal, Vincent Papale only played for Three and a Half seasons from 1976 to1979 before his injuries got the better of him, But those years playing American Football for the Eagles was for him the ultimate experience of a lifetime.
