I hadnt heard of this movie before, so perhaps it went straight on dvd, but I found it to be an above average feel good film. It's not your typical rom-com, the acting is pretty good and there are quite a few hilarious moments. I enjoyed watching this. There's bound to be other reviews focusing on how simple the plot is at times, but that's what makes it all the more enjoyable.

This is a romantic comedy that really delivers. It's a British romantic comedy which makes it a little bit more quirky, original and interesting than the average, with very good and believable script and performances from all the main leads. Not hugely challenging viewing, but that's entertainment.

Not being a great fan of any of the leads, I didn't expect to love this film. I did. It was a smart, witty rom-com that had something special when compared to your typical British romance movie. It made a change to have intelligent acting in a rom-com, and it made all the difference!! Seth Green played his British part brilliantly, and had great chemistry with Stuart Townsend. Rent this movie if you want a change from the typical American comedy, immature jokes and blonde bimbo playing lead! You're still guaranteed a laugh.

Switched off after 45 minutes. Transparent plot. Utterly by the numbers trite. All boxes ticked. Group of contrived quirky friends (Notting Hill) Falling in love with best mate's bride (Love Actually) Everyone lives in trendy London even though they've allegedly got crap jobs. Poor rip off of everything Richard Curtis has ever done. Steer clear.Ps. I usually love this kind of easy viewing.
