Every big brother and little sister around must appreciate the fun that is Charlie and Lola! Charlie is so patient with his little sister, no matter what mischief she causes! They bring innocence and honesty back to children's TV and peace for over an hour for parents everywhere! Truly a programme that is heaven sent! Keep them coming!

Rated - 4 starsImpossible to dislike

It is impossible to dislike Charlie and Lola. I find the characterisation wonderfully accurate - probably having been in the same situation (a stubborn little younger sister) myself! Every episode is fresh and original and bursting with life, so even after 50 or so they are still going strong. It appeals to children, obviously, but also to my wife and I (although I won't admit it to her...). I think we see reflections of ourselves in mischievous Lola.

Children love this. So do I. It is quirky, original, well observed, and inventive.
