Brief synopsis of Rapala Tournament Fishing

Whether you're new to the genre or an experienced TV angler, Rapala Tournament Fishing is ideal fodder for messing about on the virtual river. It might be said that this is the fishing game that the Wii has been waiting for.

Tournament mode gives you the full Rapala fishing experience. Start out as a novice angler who's light in tackle and compete your way to pro status with a boatful of trophy fish and awesome angling gear. Your mission is to advance through the various tournaments by achieving both tournament goals and qualifiers. As you make your way through each tournament, you'll unlock various items of equipment.

Free Fishing allows you to fish in any location and try out the gear you've unlocked in the tournaments. You can practice your casting and get to know your gear better. Arcade mode provides short bursts of play in which you can jump into the action at any moment. You are presented with a challenge in a given area and have to complete successfully to earn points. Completion of Arcade mode unlocks a new boat and a new level.

Time Trial requires you to prove your skill, knowledge of fish and fishing techniques within a certain amount of time. In each Time Trial, you will receive a list of fish to catch. The challenge is to find the right lure for the right fishing location. Success in Time Trial means unlocking a new level and boat.

What can i say about a game that shouts at you, CRAP CRAP CRAP.

I can say it gave me and the Girlfriend a few good hours of fun.

It was not the game i was expecting, it was fun for a few hours, and made me laugh.

Then you put it in the envelope, and send it back...

DO NOT TRY PLAYING FOR MORE THAN 4 Hours. that is when you get real bored.....

STOP at 4 hours and you will enjoy this title

Well I've had a few people rave on about this game so I thought I'd give it a whirl... Hmmm I wish I never bothered.

Game arrived first thing this morning and 5 mins later back in envelope and in post box!..

Would do to enclose some instructions with this type of game.

Found the game boring, dull, hard to work out and control!

Don't waste your rental on this one people and I certainly won't be rushing out to buy it.

well whay can i say about the game?

its ok but u have to give it time however i have played it 3 days so far and im finding it fun. the fishing isnt that realistic however when i rent a game my first thing is to look for its playablity and for this game its ok but you need to get to grips with the casting out othe wise you are you will get too frustrated.

also i would add that if you dont like fishing dont even put it on you want list, i say this as when you do real fishing you have to wait and this is just as frustrating.

adding to what i said there are good and bad points about this game like when you are doing tournaments as personallly i would like to strangle the person doing the voice over as he is so annoying.

on the whole then its ok but make sure you like fishing.
