I had this game two days and I had done everything on hard and even let my wee boy finish it on normanl.

There is no challenge in this and if your looking for easy achievement points then this game is for you.

If your looking for a game to play then turn away now this game will not offer you a challange that gamers like to have or even what you expect.

The dragon levels are disapointing in all this game dosent play anything like it should.

Rated - 3 starsGood for a simple movie tie in.

It's a fun game to play with a partner, fighting together with the simple but useful 2 button combo attack system. The magic is fun but only the first player can use it so you might need to alternate occaisionally.

The story tries to follow the movie but is boosted for action, which is a good thing (It's not like the movie's accurate anyway.) and overall fun with occaisional boss fights that can be tough on harder difficulties.

The acheivements are fairly simple to get, completing each level on normal and hard, plus finding the secret eggs. This can give your Gamerscore a nice boost for limited effort.

All in all a good game to play but limited in it's lifespan.

Rated - 0 starsWorst game ever

This is certainly not a next gen game. It has PS2 graphics and the most boring gameplay ever.

Also it is one of those game which seems like it took 2 seconds to make, as it is clear that no effort went in to making it.

After 20 minutes i had to remove it from my Xbox 360 in fear that it would infect it. I then took it straight back to the shop.

Rated - 4 starsWorth Playing

OK, so this isn't the prettiest game for the console, but it is certainly fun.

I loved the Lord Of The Rings titles on PS2 and found this to have a very similar feel.

The only thing that lets it down as far as I am concerned is the inability to move the camera - this is a third person game and you have no control over where to point the camera - shame, but its not enough to have stopped me playing it.

This is an easy game - great if you just want another 1000 gamer points for your profile. I completed it rather quickly, on the hardest setting. So perhaps not worth buying, but definately worth renting.

Rated - 5 starsso fun

A customer from London , 13/02/2009

I had such a fun time playing this game, if you put some thought and imagination into the fighting system you will be rewarded.

Yes its easy but 1000gs is nice, yes its a bad storyline but its based on a bad film of a great book. The voice acting is terrible, the camera is annoying and graphics are poor. But theres something special about the way you can interchange between your sword, bow and magic with 0 downtime.

In one case when enemies were running towards me I pushed one of the cliff with magic, picked one of with my bow, as the first guard reached me I forward rolled to dodge his attack while pressing the attack button which activates a rolling thrust with the sword which got the 2nd guard, picked off another 2 with a combo, then set the 1st guard that attacked me on fire with magic then killed the rest with my bow as they hadnt reached me yet. It sounds better when your doing it yourself but it made me wish the game had a replay feature just so I could watch that again.

These fun encounters continued throughout the game and as there are a few levels chucked in when your Saphira it doesn't become repetative.

If you want to button mash then you will giving this game a 1 star but if you put some thought into your actions you will get a lot more fun out of the game.
