Brief synopsis of Star Wars: Lethal Alliance

Star Wars: Lethal Alliance takes players deep into the heart of the Star Wars universe between episodes III and IV. You take on the role of curvaceous space pirate Rianna Saren (with the help of her trusty sidekick, the security droid Zeeo) in a mission that will pit her against the Empire.

Rianna's been doing mercenary work for years, generally against the Empire that once made her a slave. Now, however, she's decided to get a bit more responsible and has taken an assignment from the Rebel Alliance. She must sneak into a secret research facility and steal plans for something that might sound familiar: the Death Star. No mean feat. Along the way, expect run-ins with familiar faces such as Kyle Katarn, Boba Fett, Princess Leia and a nasty sounding fella going by the name of Darth Vader.

The action will take you across the length and breadth of the Galactic landscape. You'll see well-known locations such as the Death Star and Tatooine as well as uncovering never before seen locales on Despayre, Danuta and Alderaan.

Rianna herself is a formidable heroine. She's rather limber, so expect some rather gymnastic Matrix-style moves as you dodge, weave and shoot your way through enemy fire. Years of mercenary work have left her equipped with a fearsome arsenal, so couple that with her athletic physique and you can expect some furious third-person shoot-outs. Throw in Zeeo, who can perform a range of tasks from generating force-fields to dropping charges to repairing damaged gun turrets, and you're fairly well equipped to go up against the might of the Empire.

I usually like playing any Star Wars games, but i wish they had made this one more like Dark Forces or Jedi outcast, not a fan of this third person games, having said that it does look quite good and the Star Wars themes playing through the game does help.

The main problem is that this game is on the PSP, I hate the analogue control on the machine, as it is always a problem running in a straight line, oh well.
