Rated - 5 starsSupernatural's second series

In its first series Supernatural was a good show with a lot of potential, well in series two they start to fulfill that potential and then some. More ambitious, more imaginative, and more compelling series two tops the first series in every way and we're only half way through. The two leads really make Supernatural what it is, Ackles is better than ever (they really are lucky to have him) and Padalecki, who appears to have had some acting lessons, shows a vast improvement. Follow Sam and Dean on their adventures and you won't be sorry.

Rated - 4 starsBump in the Road

Series 1 of Supernatural was amazing so fresh with so much potential. It was dark but had humor and it had an interesting thread running through it.

With series 2 they bring in new elements to the show that i'm afraid to say just dont work. They seem to be more interested in comedy and fantasy rather than horror here. The whole Sam story arc is like something straight out of Charmed. The worst thing about this arc though is that it features prominently throughout the series.

The only saving grace is that alot of the new things they try, are written out by the end of the series. The 'stand alone' episodes are not up to scratch either, they are lost between being scary, being funny and furthering a ridiculous story arc. Its not all bad though there are some good episodes nothing really as good as the first series' highlights though.

The reason i give it 4stars is for the characters and even though i've come down hard on series 2 its still Supernatural at the end of the day and thats better than most!

Good news is that two episodes into series three and its looking good, the rubbish threads from series 2 are dead and burried and there are some really really interesting new ones. I pray i'm not wrong!!

Rated - 5 starsKick Ass Spook Busters

This series is fantastic - fearing the death of the series with the last part of the first series I was estatic when they released season two!

Picking up direct from the last series, true to form it jumps straight into the action and mystery that fans have become used too.

The effects are good, story lines are great, sex appeal in the heros and the victims they rescue and can be some chilling and scary moments which can be more said than some of the trashy supernatural films out there presently.

Although you can follow on without seeing the first series - I highly recomend you do see it as it rocks!

This series will appeal to all manner of people, and both sexes. Its in the same vain as X Files (but better and they dont go around frowning and looking moody all the time!).
