Brief synopsis of Full Auto 2: Battlelines

Full Auto 2: Battlelines has been combat-enhanced and fully re-designed with an extensive list of features entirely new to the franchise. Players can get behind the wheel of 25 different vehicles ranging from classic muscle cars and low riders to monstrous SUVs and industrial vehicles, each of which can be customized with more than 20 explosive weapons as well as multiple paint schemes and wheel styles. In the new multi-path single player campaign, players battle to take control of Staunton City by conquering the six different districts and taking control of opponent cars and weapons. The game's six different carnage-filled multiplayer modes, which incorporate team play and objectives ranging from classic deathmatches to unique base assaults and gladiator-style gameplay, deliver a diverse range of competitive options. The sequel implements the fan-favorite Unwreck feature, which allows players to turn back time and take another shot at a treacherous turn, avoid a deadly obstacle, or simply avoid enemy fire.

A budget playstation 2 game wearing its big sisters high-definition make-up. Stick with Burnout.

This clamis to be full auto 2, as far as i can see it is more or less excatly the same as full auto 1 on the 360.

If you've not played before it worth a go but if like me you have played the 1st installment i wouldn't bother.

Dissapointing

This is quite a tough game in parts. And you really have to play it on a HD TV, on normal def the graphics and menus are a bit dodgy and hard to make out.

Its fun for a bit of action, especially in multiplayer.

I could'nt play it online, as there are no servers apparently! So no fun there.

Game play is fine, and the fact the can destroy so much is cool. The car physics are a little annoying, but don't detract from the experience that much.

Nothing groundbraking here but its fun, especially on multiplayer

I don't know what interested me in renting this game, but I liked such games as Mashed for the retro consoles so I thought this might be the next best thing. How wrong could I have been, and what a laughable storyline! I don't want to be too harsh on the game, as it has some great destroyable landscape and the weapon systems aren't too bad. It's just not worth playing. I wanted the full game to be consistant in meeting my needs as a gamer, but as aesthetically pleasing it is to destroy buildings and the such - I wanted an all round 'phwoar' factor but it never arrived. You had to try each map several times to learn the short cuts in order to win, it was never about outwitting the enemy or shooting enough holes in them to cause a crash - it was just about where the right turns should be made and it was a textbook finish.

If you really REALLY want to rent this game then do so expecting nothing special. If your feeling uncertain about what to rent next, look elsewhere because this will just disappoint.
