Not easy to play, but that's a pro for me. The only con is that I played Fall of Man prior to this game so hence only 4 star and not 5.

usual tom clancy game, worth a look if you liked games of this type on ps2 but nothing new. playable but not fantastic, has not used the full potential of the ps3. worth renting (wish i had, instead of buying it!)

Ubisoft Montreal outdone themselves with this classic 1st person shoot em up,this was one of the most intense games ive had the pleasure to play and the most enjoyable in many years,if like the game suggests that there's going to be a follow up to rainbow six vegas then all i can say is bring on the sleepless nights,im quite hard to please in my gaming world but Rainbow Six Vegas was and still is outstanding and every serious gamer should display this proudly in there collection-10/10.

Rated - 2 starsNo six in my score

I had high hopes for this game but was not impressed at all, so much so that I sent it back within a matter of days. Maybe it’s my fault for not giving it a chance but the graphics were poor and the playability was not good.

There are much better games out there like Call of Duty 4 if you’re into this style of game.

This compares reasonably well to the previous incarnations of Rainbow Six and it's very competently implemented. However the game has evolved into a much more FPS style of game, and I do miss the tactical planning stage, where you could meticulously plan out routes for your teams. In fact there is only one team to control in this game, which limits your options a bit in terms of tactical moves. I liked the good selection weapons available, but there is nothing much to distinguish it from other 'tactical shooters', even Ghost Recon:Advanced Warfighter. I get the impression that Ubisoft have just re-used their code to squeeze out an extra game. It makes use of a similar cover system when engaging enemy units.

In essence, it is a simplified 'dumbed down' version of previous Rainbow Six titles, which left me with a feeling of apathy towards it. Possibly I'm getting sick of the whole tactical shooter genre. If you've already got GR:AW, then there is little motivation to buy this game.
